How do I order?
Ordering is 99.9% of the time done here through our Facebook group and then invoiced through this website. Offered items include: bras, underwear, tops, shorts, pants, headbands, dresses, and other miscellaneous items.

What is the expected turnaround time?
Our turnaround time is listed at the top of the website for easy access. If you're purchasing from a preorder, it can take an extra 6-12 weeks for the fabric to be ordered, printed, cut, mailed, and then inspected before a single cut is made. This does not include the stated turnaround time to make your items.

What are preorders?
In addition to the expected turnaround time of preorders, here is some more information about them. When a preorder fabric is offered, there is no limit to the number of items you can purchase. At the time of buying into a preorder, a 50% non-refundable fee is required. This ensures that enough fabric is purchased for everyone participating. The remaining 50% is due within 4 weeks of the fabric being received. Due to the longer wait time, it is advised to plan sizing accordingly. In the event there is leftover fabric, it will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

When are my items going to be shipped?
Shipping happens once per week. Whenever possible, orders are combined to ship together. Shipping overages exceeding $1 are refunded to you via shop credit.

What are the different types of fabric and what they can be used for?
Cotton lycra - Smooth surface, 4 way stretch. Uses: clothing, bras, underwear, cloth pads, nursing pads
Bamboo lycra - Silkier and stretchier than cotton lycra. Same uses as cotton lycra, but the stretchiness may alter the size.
100% Organic cotton velour (ocv) - Short pile, slightly fuzzy feeling. Uses: cloth pads, nursing pads, wipes
Cotton sherpa - Higher pile. It typically looks like the surface of cauliflower. In some cases it looks like a plush rug. Very plush and fast absorber. Uses: cloth pads, nursing pads, wipes
Bamboo French terry - One side is smooth, the other has small, flat loops. Heavier weight than a t-shirt, but lighter than a sweatshirt. Uses: clothing, underwear, bras, cloth pads, nursing pads, wipes
Bamboo fleece - One side is smooth, the other is fuzzy. Heavier weight. Uses: cloth pads, nursing pads, wipes
Wool blends - Wool is a natural fiber. It is temperature regulating (can be worn all year long) and has antimicrobial and antibacterial properties. Wool can be washed by hand or in the gentle cycle of your machine in cold or warm water, and for longevity should be laid flat to dry. Wool can be used as the water resistant backer for pads, or as underwear or bras.

What are mystery/surprise listings?
If you are not particular about specific designs/prints being used, you can purchase several types of items done in a "mystery" style. You are able to choose your fabric type, size/length, extra hacks, and in the case of pads, absorbency, but your final design will be a surprise. You can also buy bras and underwear in solid color organic cotton spandex at any time.

What is the custom consultation fee and what is it used for?
If mystery purchases don't appeal to you, please begin by buying the $15 custom consultation fee, and then message Christie Klein through Facebook or email to sewwhatbyck@gmail.com. This fee is to cover time spent showing available fabrics, and is not applied to the final cost. Due to fabrics being available in such limited quantities, it is not feasible to try maintaining a photo album of them. Be assured, there is plenty from which to choose!
